Seeking to hire a Loader for our client in Richmond, VA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! 18.00 per Hour The shift times are Sunday to Thursday, 5pm until work is completed Job Opportunity Loader Formula Warehouse Associate Are you ready to be a crucial part of our success story? Join us as a Loader Formula, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, ensuring safety and quality standards are met. Key Responsibilities Loading Operations Transport items into trailers using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts or by hand, following a predetermined loading plan. Product Movement Move outgoing products from the staging area to the loading dock with a forklift, ensuring proper placement in the trailer. Packaging and Labeling Wrap pallets with cellophane, secure loads, and ensure shipping labels are correctly placed. Slot Allocation Locate the proper slot on the trailer for each order, set it in place, and secure the load upon completion. Material Handling Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to designated areas. Inspect empty pallets for damage and stack or move them with pallet jacks or forklifts. Housekeeping Perform general housekeeping duties, keeping the warehouse, loading dock, and trailers clear and clean. Safety Compliance Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines. Report any unsafe conditions immediately. Pre-Operations Preparation Review work schedule, conduct safety checks on equipment, gather necessary supplies, and prepare for operations. Protective Measures Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear. Trailer Inspection Inspect empty trailers at the loading dock for cleanliness before loading and take appropriate action as needed. Productivity Standards Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines. Equipment Maintenance Remove batteries requiring recharging, replace with charged batteries, and complete vehicle inspection checklist. Collaboration Assist Order Selectors and perform additional duties as requested or assigned by the supervisor. Shift Closure Secure all equipment, complete necessary paperwork, and ensure a smooth shift closure. Continuous Improvement Actively participate as a team member, suggesting improvements to enhance efficiency.
