Description


We are looking for an HR assistant for a food manufacturing company located in Torrance Ca.

The successful candidate will be fluent in both English and Spanish, possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
?Fluency in both English and Spanish (spoken and written) is preferred
?Proven experience as an administrative assistant/HR assistant or similar role
?Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
?Strong organizational and time management abilities with a keen attention to detail
?Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
?Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
?Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities
? Provides administrative and clerical support to the Human Resources Manager by
performing a variety of personnel-related administrative duties related to the daily
operations of the human resources functions on all personnel matters
? Prepare job offers, perform candidate background screening procedures
? Prepare new hire paperwork, conduct new employee orientations
? Verify I-9 documentation and maintain current records
? Prepare new, and maintain current, personnel files
? Update HRIS, time & attendance and payroll systems with hires, terminations and
employee changes, processes associated paperwork
? Maintain the integrity of the HRIS, time & attendance and payroll systems
? Assist new employees with benefits enrollment, assist with annual enrollment
? Perform payroll and benefit-related reconciliations
? Conduct audits of various payroll, benefits or other HR programs, and recommends any
corrective action
? Assist with the preparation and processing performance reviews
? Assist with various audits, research projects and/or special projects
? Assist Hiring Managers with recruitment efforts
? Prepare termination paperwork and assist with processing terminations
? Schedule meetings and interviews as requested by HR Manager
? Make photocopies, fax documents, file and performs other clerical functions
? Assist and prepare correspondence
? Provide backup for front desk personnel, as needed
? Perform other duties as needed and directed by management or HR department

Responsibilities

? Act as the primary point of contact for executives, managing their schedules, emails, and
phone calls efficiently and professionally
? Coordinate meetings, conferences
? Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports in English and Mandarin
? Translate documents, emails, and other materials from Mandarin to English and vice
versa
? Assist with preparing presentations, meeting agendas, and meeting minutes
? Conduct research and compile data as needed for various projects and initiatives
? Maintain and organize files, records, and other documents
? Handle confidential information with discretion and integrity
? Perform other administrative tasks or projects as assigned
