Weekly Pay! $26.00/Hour Shift Details: 2nd Shift 1:30pm-10:00pm rotating schedule weekends/weekdays (1st few weeks 7:30am-4:00pm-training) Key areas of accountability/responsibility Autonomous accomplishment of analysis / testing in the Laboratory with emphasis on organized daily routine. Broad knowledge of different analytical / microbiological techniques. Responsibility for Laboratory and some Operations analytical equipment Administrative tasks such as: writing SOP?s and procurement of laboratory/Pilot Plant and some Operations supplies. Knowledge of the Management-of-Change (MOC) process. Maintains, calibrates, validates, monitors, and troubleshoots laboratory equipment Performs calculations, collets and prepares data for evaluation Keeps Manager informed of work status and suggests follow-up action to resolve atypical results and any problems encountered. SHE Duties & Responsibilities: Display and promote positive safety behaviors at all times; use proper personal protective equipment, appropriate safety tools, equipment and procedures to ensure that self and others go home safe each day; that area and equipment operate at the highest safety levels; that all people in the area (finance personnel, visitors, maintenance, contractors, etc.) comply with the safety directives and keep the area neat and clean. Direct support for all production products (ARA/Trienol/nBC). Acts in such a way that safety awareness & accident prevention are considered in performing all tasks. Shows leadership by working to SHEQ standards and encouraging colleagues to work to the same standards. Ensures that all safety, quality, and assigned training is up to date and in compliance. All employees are expected to be aware of and follow all Client Life Saving Rules. Supports plant and corporate initiatives as outlined in the manufacturing plan. Follows the Manufex work processes. This position is overtime eligible. The work schedule may be structured with a required overtime component built-in. Candidates must be able to work shifts, weekends, overtime (including coverage) and holidays as required. All candidates, both internal and external, applying for this position understand that overtime may be required and adjusted based on business needs and to ensure continued safe operations. Bachelors? degree in Chemistry, Biology, or Biochemistry preferred. 1 year? experience in microbiology laboratory/fermentation environment. Broad / General knowledge of quality control techniques and methods. Broad understanding of safety, hygiene and GMP rules Ability to accurately execute assigned tasks and apply problem solving and critical thinking skills to identify solutions to daily challenges. Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to multitask and a high attention to detail. Basic computer skills, including knowledge of most common IT programs (e.g. Microsoft Office). | |
