Jobsrus.com is looking for a Packaging Operator. We are hiring for a globally known medical manufacturing facility in Sparks, MD. Shift: 5:45am-6:00pm Mon- Thurs. 5:45am-6:00pm Mon - Weds. opposite week. Payrate: $16.50/hour Benefits: 401k Health, Dental and Vision Insurance Weekly Pay (every Friday) Job Summary: -As a packaging operator you will be responsible for the labeling, inspecting and packaging of final container products with manual and/or automated packaging systems. -Operates equipment that packages materials or products by inserting them into containers or filling containers from spouts or chutes. -May perform other packaging tasks including placing labels on packages, operating small production equipment, putting manuals into binders, counting and sorting various items, and forming or breaking down boxes for final product. -May also set-up, change-over and operate labeling and packaging equipment. Responsible for data entry and imprinting computer generated labels. -Performs initial check of completed documents for completeness and accuracy. Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves basic issues associated with packaging operations. ***Not accessible to public transit. Needs reliable transportation.*** Requirements: A minimum of 1 year of industry work experience.
