Pay Rate - $39-49/hr Job Description Research and investigate the design, functionality and maintenance of mechanical products, equipment, systems, and processes. Have the ability to make engineering drawings and read and interpret blueprints. The technical skills include the ability to make sketches and engineering drawings and have experience using computer applications related to the engineering field. Must haves : 1.) Root Cause & Corrective Action Studies 2.) CAD 3.) G-Code programming for CNC machines is a requirement Preferred Experience: Fanuc - experience preferred. Okuma? experience preferred Education/Experience: o Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering required or equivalent experience o 8-10 year?s experience required Responsibility level o Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor Skills: o Creativity, verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem solving ability (Required) o Team player and detail oriented (Required)o Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas (Required) o Strong leadership and mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback (Required) o Advanced ability to make sketches, engineering drawings and common computations (Typically required)o Advanced ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawing, schematics and computer-generated reports (Typically required) o Previous experience with computer applications and software related to engineering field, such as Computer Aided Design (CAD) (Typically required) Major Job Duties and Responsibilities: o Study time, motion, methods, and speed involved in maintenance, production, and other operations to establish standard production rate and improve efficiency o Review worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets, to verify that records adhere to quality assurance specifications o Review and approve work assignments in accordance with worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and anticipated delays o Review charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization o Evaluate data and reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards o Recommend modifications to existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability o Recommend revision to methods of operation, material handling, equipment layout, or other changes to increase production or improve standards The items below would be helpful with the role in question. ? Tsugami B0325 III with Fanuc Series 32i ? Model B controller with FMB 3-38 barfeeder ? Tsugami B0205 with Fanuc Series Oi ? TD controller with FMB 2-20 barfeeder ? Citizen C32 VIII with Mitsubishi Controller (3$ programs) and CAV32-iS barfeeder Program parts from 2-D prints provided (there are no accurate solid models at the blanking state). Identify work holding (collets) and cutting tools required for main and sub-spindles to make each part complete. Ideally the programmer should be onsite to prove out program and set-up in machine. Each part would require a 30 pc PPAP run and inspection before process acceptance and release to production. | |
