Job Title: Truck Loader Pay: $17.50 per hour Schedule: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Mon - Fri) Location: Near Wildwood and Belcamp, MD area. Job Title: Truck Loader (including Forklift Operation) Summary: As a Warehouse Associate within our Fulfillment Center, you'll be responsible for various tasks, including unloading trucks, picking and loading products, maintaining warehouse cleanliness, and ensuring a safe working environment. In addition, you will have the opportunity to operate forklift equipment for merchandise transportation. Required Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous warehouse experience is a plus. - Forklift experience of at least 2 years operating a powered industrial truck. - OSHA certification is preferable, and employer certification will also be considered. - Experience with counterbalance or stand-up forklift, order picker, and carton clamp attachment is highly desirable. - Other powered industrial truck skills will also be considered. - Safe and verifiable operating history from a previous employer is appreciated. - Ability to work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision. - Typical work schedules are Monday to Friday, with multiple shifts available. - Must pass a drug screen and criminal background investigation before beginning employment. - A job performance reference check is also required. Key or Bonus Skills: - SAP or WMS experience. - RF Scanner operation proficiency. - Clamp forklift experience (3 years preferred). - Operating a powered forklift truck on a regular and continuous basis to move merchandise or equipment in a distribution center. - Loading/unloading trucks and performing related tasks. - Must be able to lift, load, and dolly items ranging from 50-300 lbs. - Performing physical labor for up to 10 hours per day. Physical Requirements (unchanged): - Hearing/Speaking: Must effectively communicate with associates, supervisors/managers, and customers as required. - Bending/Stooping: Constantly required (activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time). - Climbing: Frequently required (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time). - Lifting: Constantly required (activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time). - Lifting Weight: Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs independently and more with assistance. - Pushing/Pulling: Constantly required (activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time). - Sitting: Not Present. - Standing: Frequently required (activity or condition exists from 1/3 to 2/3 of the time). - Walking: Constantly required (activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time). | |
