JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Merchandiser for our client in Columbia, SC! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $16.50/Hour Shift : Thursday-Monday 8-5 Overview: The role of a Merchandiser involves performing various merchandising tasks, including creating displays and stocking Client products in retail stores. These tasks are usually assigned by the sales teams or retail customers. The Merchandiser will be responsible for installing promotional point-of-sale materials to meet display objectives, and stocking products when needed. The job requires driving a personal vehicle to multiple stores or locations within a day or throughout the week. Duties and Responsibilities: - Building displays and updating pricing and special offers within a designated territory. - Maintaining positive relationships with retail customers. - Ensuring that all company products are correctly displayed. - Installing point-of-sale materials as directed. - Stocking products on shelves, displays, and/or cold boxes as necessary. - Performing other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of experience. - Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance in accordance with State laws. Preferred Qualifications: - Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws affecting the beverage/alcohol industry within account responsibility. Physical Demands: - Occasional sitting and typing/keyboarding using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor) or adding machine. - Frequent walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping. - Occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 50lbs. | |
