Jobsrus.com is hiring for medical assemblers at our medical manufacturing facility in El Paso. Open Shifts & Payrates: 1st - Monday-Friday 6am-2pm $12/hour 2nd: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm $12.50/hour 3rd: Monday -Friday 10pm-6am $13/hour Job Summary: Under direct supervision, candidate trains to perform duties related to the preparation and manufacture of active pharmaceutical ingredients, intermediates, and/or medical devices in accordance with standard operating procedures, as regulated by quality, environmental, and safety agencies (FDA, OSHA, etc.). RESPONSIBILITIES Possess a basic understanding of production processes within area of assignment and a working knowledge of manufacturing equipment. Transport materials of varying weight in accordance with established safety guidelines using material handling equipment and additional assistance as required. Demonstrates adherence to safety procedures by monitoring personal and peer behaviors, work environment and housekeeping. Performs all duties with attention to quality, safety, and environmental matter such as wearing appropriate personal protective equipment, identifying, reporting, and appropriately responding to hazards in the work area (spills/accidents/near misses), always maintaining proper housekeeping, and properly labeling and storing chemicals. Complete Operator Training Program according to established guidelines. Be available for other projects or assignments as requested by management. Looking for ways to simplify or improve products, services, systems, and processes to achieve Qualifications High School Diploma/GED preferred but NOT REQUIRED 4 months of work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred Able to read, write, and understand Basic English preferred.
