Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse

Experience Level: 2-5 years, preferably in Occupational Health, but open to diverse backgrounds such as home health, etc.

Education: Bachelor's degree and current RN license required

Responsibilities:

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for those with a background in Occupational Health. However, we welcome candidates with diverse healthcare backgrounds, including home health.

Key Qualifications:

Experience: 2-5 years of relevant experience, with a preference for Occupational Health experience.

Education: Bachelor's degree and licensed RN.

Autonomous Work: Ability to work autonomously as the sole clinician in the clinic, providing support to over 1000 employees.

Administrative Skills: Proficiency in Excel and strong administrative skills are essential, as 80% of the role involves administrative management.

Duties:

Provide occupational health services, including treatment and care for the site population (e.g., First Aid response).

Manage a variety of programs and systems, including employee injuries and illnesses, workers' compensation cases, medical surveillance programs, and protocols.

Oversee and manage all medical supplies.

Coordinate Corporate occupational health and safety programs.

Conduct relevant employee training and actively participate in various site teams and Emergency Response.

Collaborate with Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) and HR Staff.

Work closely with all site employees, Managers, and Supervisors.

Implement strategies to reduce Workers' Compensation costs through effective case management, return-to-work programs, and other preventive measures.
