Utility Worker (Plastic Manufacturing Plant) - Atlanta, GA

Pay: $15.00 - $15.75
Position: Full-time
Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM OR 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM

Summary:
The Downstream Equipment Operator plays a vital role in supporting production by managing downstream flow, ensuring top-tier quality inspection, and optimizing equipment utilization. Candidates with hands-on downstream machinery experience, commitment to safety, and a focus on product quality are ideal.

Key Responsibilities:

- Work 14 days a month on rotating 12-hour shifts.
- Example: B/D Schedule - Sun, Mon, Thu, Fri one week; Tue, Wed, Sat the following week.
- Assist technicians in grinding bottles, managing downstream flow, and operating equipment.
- Operate palletizers, conveyor systems, stretch wrappers, and banders for optimal production.
- Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance on downstream equipment.
- Gain knowledge of product orders to meet material requirements and customer specifications.
- Support Process Technician in documenting production losses.
- Strive towards reliability, quality, scrap, and safety goals.
- Complete mandatory production, safety, and quality reports.
- Adhere strictly to BOS and SAP standards.
- Comply with company safety policies and uphold cleanliness standards (GMP).
- Attend mandatory training and weekly team meetings.
- Communicate effectively with Production, Quality, and Group Leaders.
- Maintain ISO standards for quality and processes.
- Immediately report any food safety concerns.
- Perform other assigned duties.
