JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant for our client in Whitestown Indiana. Benefits and weekly pay will be availble. 18.00 per hr with pay increase to 20.00 per hour 3rd shift 8p to 4a Objective Under general supervision, the Administrative Support Rep is responsible for answering phone calls and emails, providing details to drivers on delivery locations, responding to customers, carrier partners and drivers? questions and concerns, assisting the team with administrative duties. Key Deliverables: 1. Has a positive attitude and provides courteous, friendly service to all internal team member and external customers, by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries and requests. Be the front line of support for all customers, carrier providers and drivers, handling all inquiries to ensure we exceed expectations. Maintain accurate records of customer, carrier provider and driver interactions, process accounts as needed. Provides administrative support for entire team and carrier providers to ensure efficient dock operations. Provide support to drivers and delivery locations to ensure on time deliveries. Accurately receives, sorts, and provides appropriate paperwork to drivers in a timely manner. Handle customer, carrier provider and driver complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within approved time limits; follow up to ensure resolutions. Maintain general office files, including job files, carrier provider and driver files related to Lanter Delivery Systems dock operations. Protects company assets and confidential information in accordance with company policies and procedures. Including, but not limited to, candidates, team members and proprietary company information. Work Environment This job operates in a professional office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, copier and phone. Physical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to communicate verbally and in writing and sit for long periods of time. Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent experience. Proven success as a dispatch administrative and or customer service. Logistics and or transportation experience is a plus.
