Weekly Pay! $51.72/Hour Shift Details: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Unit: Endoscopy - Client Hospital Springfield Description: Required Licensure: Current CNA License (Meets the criteria to be eligible for licensure in state of Missouri or currently licensed in the state of Missouri.) Required Certifications: BLS or CPR from AHA only Required Experience: 1 year in an acute care facility MUST BE FLU VACCINATED TO BE SUBMITTED - NO EXCEPTIONS General Comments Performs direct patient care activities for all age groups to include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Monitors and coordinates patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient care and comfort. Functions within the scope of nursing preparation and consistent with the established guidelines of nursing practice, the goals of Mercy Hospital Springfield, the Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy, the Missouri Nurse Practice Act, the Code of Professional and Business Ethics and the Employee Code of Conduct. Performs related duties as assigned. Experience: Basic dysrhythmia knowledge. Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Specialized skill, judgment and knowledge. Good communication skills, able to work closely with physicians and other staff. Skills to work with delicate instruments. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Stand, walk, and sit most of the time on duty. Meet unit specific physical demands. May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of the week, call, or work frequency according to patient care requirements. Able to lift, push and move heavy equipment. Able to work with fluoroscopy. Preferred Experience: Gastroenterology experience preferred, one year of hospital nursing experience (med-surg, ICU or ED). Preferred Certifications: CGRN certification recommended within 2 years after hire date, but not required Preferred Other: Computer skills | |
