JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Field Service Technician for our client in Columbus, OH! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $26.00/Hour Work Schedule: 8-5 Typically, Monday ? Friday (8-hour days) with some occasional Saturdays A four-day work week (10-hour days) is possible if field production dictates Weekends and some holidays off MVR run every 6 mos on active contingent workers. Does enter residential homes Candidate will have access to company vehicle; if one is not available mileage reimbursement can be done via weekly expense report Reimbursement for food while traveling Hotel arranged and paid for by company We partner with the local electric utility to provide a free service to its customers in selected neighborhoods throughout Indiana and Kentucky. This program relies on the Field Service Technician to install energy efficient products in the customer?s home to help reduce electrical consumption. Technicians will also qualify customers to receive additional free services based on the home?s energy efficiency. Contract can be extended up to 24 months. Operates on site in an on-call capacity. Duties include installing and repairing equipment, and training customer employees on how to maintain machinery. Performs trial run of machinery to ensure performance rates and quality meet established specifications. May require an associate's degree in area of specialty and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under minimal supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Special Considerations: Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions. Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal. | |
