Job Description:
The Quality Assurance Inspector plays a vital role in the Quality Incoming sampling and physical inspection of raw materials and components, adhering to approved drawings and specifications. This role contributes to the maintenance of records on vendor performance, audits Device History Records, and actively participates in the analysis and resolution of supplier quality problems. Ensures compliance with QSR, ISO, and OSHA standards and regulations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct inspection and timely disposition of raw materials and packaging components according to approved procedures and specifications.
Document inspections in the SAP system and required forms promptly.
Dispose of In-Process material following approved procedures and specifications, documenting usage decisions in SAP.
Ensure timely disposition of Finished Goods, documenting product disposition in SAP.
Create and manage Quality Notifications for non-conforming materials as per established Standard Operating Procedures.
Perform line clearances effectively and in a timely manner following standard operating procedures.
Stay updated on regulatory requirements for the pharmaceutical/medical devices industry.
Promote a safe environment, providing recommendations on maintaining workplace safety.
Provide recommendations to support systems that improve product/process quality, reduce costs, and increase production capability.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge and Skills:

Knowledge of current regulatory requirements for the pharmaceutical/medical devices industry.
Proficiency in material sampling techniques and use of applicable ANSI/ASQ sampling standards.
Experience in Incoming Quality Assurance inspection and product disposition in SAP.
Effective skills in analytical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal relationships, written and oral communication, planning/organization, and meeting development and participation.
Computer literate (MS Windows and MS Office).
Bilingual (English and Spanish).
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in a related scientific discipline (Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biology, Engineering).
Minimum of one (1) year of quality assurance/regulatory affairs experience in a pharmaceutical/medical device environment or equivalent combination of related education and experience. BD04123JD
