Job Title: Forklift Operator (Clamp Forklift Specialist) Pay: $15 - 17.50 Per Hour Schedule: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Mon - Fri) Location: Near Belcamp, MD area. Summary: As a Forklift Operator, you'll play a crucial role in transporting merchandise within the warehouse using a forklift truck, with specialized expertise in operating a clamp forklift. Duties and Responsibilities: - Loading/unloading trucks, stocking, order filling, and related tasks. - Proficiently operate a clamp forklift to move merchandise or equipment within a distribution center. - Lift, load, and dolly items ranging from 50-300 lbs. - Perform physical labor for up to 10 hours per day. Required Qualifications: - High School diploma or equivalent preferred. - Previous warehouse and forklift experience is a plus. - Minimum of 3 years experience operating a powered industrial clamp forklift. - OSHA certification is preferable, and employer certification is also considered. - Strong expertise in operating a clamp forklift, with experience in counterbalance or stand-up forklift, and order picker. - Proficiency in other powered industrial truck skills will also be considered. - Safe and verifiable operating history from a previous employer is highly appreciated. - Typical work schedules are Monday to Friday, with multiple shifts available. - Must pass a drug screen and criminal background investigation before beginning employment. - A job performance reference check is also required. - Ability to work within established procedures with a moderate degree of supervision.## | |
