Inside Sales Support Representative
We are seeking a highly organized and communicative individual to join our client's inside sales team as an Inside Sales Support Representative. This multifaceted role blends customer service, order processing, and vital support for our planning department. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in software systems such as Oracle and BAAN.

Primary Responsibilities:

Order Processing and Supply Management:

Procure non-inventory office and shipping supplies.
Efficiently process all non-inventory bills in Oracle.
Conduct meticulous backend controls audits for satellite warehouses during month-end shipping.
Manage the daily open order list to satellite warehouses.

Customer Service:

Address Credits/RMAs, actively working on reducing an 18-day backlog.
Set up new/dormant customer accounts.
Perform customer maintenance tasks in BAAN, including adding/editing customer locations/info.
Process freight claims (pending since May 2020) and diligently investigate shipping/billing error claims.
Manage receivables customer service.

Financial Operations:

Process credit card payments for open terms customers.
Oversee trade management, including resolving 170 open claims (49 over 90 days old).
Conduct collections for unassigned credits (173 open, 49 over 180 days old) and chargebacks (43 open, 18 over 180 days old).
Sales Support and Reporting:

Distribute individual commission reports accurately.
Provide essential backup for blocked order releases, credit card captures, and daily sales reports.
Process EDI transactions for seamless sales operations.
Planning Department Assistance:

Enter invoices and POs in Oracle with precision.
Collaborate with suppliers to track down parts and payment information.
Keep dates updated in BAAN for streamlined planning.
Obtain quotes and fulfill field CSR information requests.
Expedite items from suppliers and track shipments.
Assist in setting up new parts.
Qualifications:

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills.
Proficiency in relevant software systems, including Oracle and BAAN.
Prior experience in inside sales, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.
