Applicant Requirements: Valid driver???s license/ dependable transportation Min. 3+ years??? experience with electrical, mechanical machine repair and general maintenance. Ability to lift up to 40lbs, preform work from a ladder, safely operate metal and wood cutting equipment Read and write English, basic math skills Required skills: 3 years previous experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician. Understanding of electrical wiring and circuits, basic hydraulic and mechanical repair High level of problem solving skills with the ability to work independently Working knowledge of tools, appliances, basic plumbing and mechanical devices Ability to read drawings and take both verbal and written instructions Desired Skills (but not required) Service and maintenance of welding equipment, punch press, electro mechanical test stations Weld Fixture fabrication Wire cutting and electrical connector application machines Job responsibilities: Performs scheduled preventative maintenance and repairs to hand tools, shop fans, machines, large metal press machines, building fixtures, basic plumbing, bathroom fixtures, carpentry, painting, locks, pest control and basic electrical repair.
