Experience: Prior experience in leave of absence administration. Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to leave of absences. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information. Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Leave of Absence Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the leave of absence process, working closely with our third-party administrator and payroll team to ensure accurate and compliant administration. Key Responsibilities: Leave of Absence Management: Monitor leave of absences approved and denied by our third-party administrator. Stay informed about federal, state, and local regulations related to leave of absences. Work with HR and managers to gather necessary documentation and information for leave requests. Very critical to this role is to assist payroll team by providing weekly reporting to ensure proper payments are made to LOA employees. Coordination with Third-Party Administrator: Collaborate with the third-party administrator to ensure seamless administration of leave requests. Provide necessary information and documentation for leave processing. Address any issues or discrepancies in leave approvals or denials. Employee Support and Communication: Serve as a point of contact for employees and managers regarding leave of absence inquiries. Provide clear and concise information on leave policies, procedures, and guidelines. Collaborate with HR and other departments to address employee concerns and inquiries. Compliance and Reporting: Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant employment laws and regulations related to leave of absences. Generate reports for payroll team, and analyses related to leave of absences, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies. Documentation and Recordkeeping: Ensure accurate and organized documentation of all leave of absence records. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive employee information. Assist in the preparation of reports and audits related to leave of absences. | |
