Shift: Monday to Thursday: 7:00 am - 5:30 pm Pay Rate: $21.50/hour Must-Have: Looking for applicants with experience in Dilutions and Formulation in their previous education/jobs. Job Overview: Join our team as a Tech Scientific Operations professional in Baltimore, MD. We are seeking individuals experienced in Dilutions and Formulation for clinical and commercial product manufacturing. As a crucial member of our team, you will operate production equipment, ensure proper ingredient measurements, conduct in-process testing, and contribute to the validation of processes and equipment related to filtration, cleaning, and sterilization. Responsibilities and Duties: Manufacture and assemble clinical and commercial products using production equipment. Weigh, measure, and check raw materials to guarantee batches contain the correct ingredients and quantities. Assist with in-process testing to ensure batches meet specifications. Validate processes and equipment related to filtration, cleaning, and sterilization. Remove and dispose of waste chemicals, solvents, and acids responsibly. Create solutions, powders, and liquids for batches to meet specifications. Provide training support for onboarding and/or new procedures. Support the lead/supervisor when necessary. Offer continuous improvement recommendations to enhance overall operational efficiency. Demonstrate the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). Adhere to all BD housekeeping, safety policies, and procedures. Be flexible to work overtime as required to meet BD business requirements. Qualifications: Minimum Education/Experience: High school with technical certification in laboratory operations plus 3 years of laboratory experience. AS degree in a scientific discipline with 2-3 years of laboratory experience. BS degree in a scientific discipline plus 1-2 years of laboratory experience. Basic Skills: Strong teamwork and communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong time management skills. Ability to operate independently. Proficient/Working Skills: Proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams, and perform basic arithmetic. Proficiency in MS Excel is required.
