-Communicating with customers and responding to their queries (via phone, email) in a professional and timely manner. -Responding immediately to customer questions and complaints and notifying them of any delays in the delivery schedule. -Shipping/Receiving experience is a plus. -Entering, updating, and processing customer orders on various interfaces. -Accurately enter data and create various reports for internal / external use. -Scheduling pickup and delivery appointments for drivers. -Coordinate with billing to ensure accurate invoicing. -Collaborates and offers assistance to other team members in delivering optimal transportation service solutions. -Performs related duties as assigned by the Operations Manager and General Manager. -Well-versed in supply chain management principles and practices -Complete all tasks accurately and timely -Learn and apply Continuous Improvement principles to all areas of responsibility QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience: 1 + years 3PL transportation experience SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE LANGUAGE: English COMPUTER: Microsoft Office, Outlook | |
