Shift Details :
Monday ? Friday, approx. 8am-4pm CST. Up to 40 hours a week

R&D Technician - Remote

Scope:
This is a remote position, supporting the North America Zone.
The primary responsibility of this position is to support the creation of specifications and graphics to meet business initiatives. This includes executing specifications and graphics in complex data systems. The position will also be the point of contact between specification managers, quality, regulatory and food safety for the management of the specifications and graphics. Communication and organizational skills are essential in this role, which operates in a dynamic and cross-functional environment. This position requires an individual to manage multiple assignments and tasks concurrently with moderate levels of supervisor guidance. Exhibiting a collaborative mindset and applying ownership are a must.

Key Responsibilities
Candidate will be required to execute specification development from raw and packaging materials, product formulations, packaging specs and configurations
Candidate will be required to execute graphics reviews
Candidate will attend key project meetings and communicate regular updates on progress
Develop and maintain a strong, effective relationship with the Spec managers, Quality, Regulatory, Food Safety, Marketing, and Project Management teams
Interface with all related technical experts and category scientists
Maintain detailed technical documentation
Be highly organized and result-driven

Qualifications:
Minimum Associate degree
Preferred 1+ year(s) experience with data management systems
Computer literacy including competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Outlook) and demonstrated ability to operate complex data systems required
Ability to operate effectively in a customer focused, fast-paced team environment
Self motivated problem solver
Excellent mathematical skills
Must be self motivated, autonomous, detail oriented, and flexible
Ability to learn new processes quickly
Excellent organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication
Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing in English is required
