Monday to Thursday: 5:45 am - 6:00 pm
Monday to Wednesday (opposite weeks): 5:45 am - 6:00 pm

Job Overview:
As a Packaging Operator in Baltimore, you play a crucial role in the labeling, inspecting, and packaging of final container products using manual and/or automated systems. Operate equipment to insert or fill materials into containers, perform labeling tasks, and ensure accurate data entry for computer-generated labels.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Follow standard manufacturing procedures (SMP) and standard operating procedures (SOP) for packaging materials
Perform filling, assembling, labeling, and inspecting tasks under general supervision
Maintain accuracy in weighing materials within specified tolerances
Communicate effectively within the manufacturing team to convey product or process status between shifts
Move required materials using material handling equipment
Set up, operate, and clean production equipment, including weighing scales, hand-filling equipment, and shrink-wrap equipment
Maintain accurate production records, including logs, batch history records, label reconciliation, and work order information
Identify and troubleshoot minor equipment issues
Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and adhere to BD housekeeping and safety policies
Be willing to work overtime as required to meet business requirements
Perform other duties as required
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Experience:

High School degree required; 1 year of manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred, experience in a regulated environment is a plus
Basic skills in manual and routine tasks with the ability to recognize deviations from specifications
Maintain neat, accurate, and complete records manually and/or electronically
Effectively manage frequent assignment changes
Proficient/Working Skills:

Proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams, and perform basic arithmetic
Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and the ability to use Windows environment
Use independent judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot, and problem-solve
Able to work in a repetitive environment and stand for long periods
