Job Title: Assistant Restaurant Manager Location: Los Angeles, CA Salary: $35.00 Hour Benefits Available, Weekly Pay Schedule: Varied shifts, typically 8 am to 8pm for an 8-hour shift. Closed Tues Wed except for special events. Responsibilities Support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, both front of house and back of house. Monitor service standards, food quality, and resolve customer issues and staff relations. Supervise Bistro operations within the store, brainstorm new concepts and programs to promote the Bistro. Aim to boost revenue and meet expense goals, ensuring memorable dining experiences for guests. Collaborate with store management for exceptional events and programs. Contribute to team development, including hiring and training seasonal staff. Qualifications: Associate's or Bachelor's degree from a reputable institution, culinary school, or equivalent experience. Preferred certifications in state sanitation, Serve Safe, and Safe Alcohol Consumption. Prior experience in high-volume, fast-paced fine dining or related restaurant in a management position. Preference for experience working with children. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, restaurant reservation and POS systems, inventory systems, and basic office equipment.
