Responsibilities Serve as a member of Software Test Team with responsibility for software testing of products developed by R&D. Participate in the development of software testing of medical devices and host applications. Develop test cases and protocols from requirements/design documentation and execute the protocols against established baselines. Set up test environments. Install software and set up networks and other hardware, simulators, etc. Perform ad hoc testing of Welch Allyn medical devices and applications. Participate in cross functional review of product software design and requirements for correctness, completeness, and testability. Communicate/Document anomalies/issues. Understand and follow established quality processes and procedures. Qualifications Must possess a Bachelor's Degree, or foreign equivalent, in Software Engineering, Computer Programming, or a relevant Engineering discipline. The successful candidate will be one who enjoys working in a cross-functional, project-oriented team environment working together to develop medical devices and applications that sustain patients and save lives. You will have strong troubleshooting skills, an inquisitive nature and the discipline to codify test methods into protocols. Strong written and verbal skills required, as you will work collaboratively with team members located in Skaneateles and remotely. Work experience in a regulated industry is preferred. It is expected you will work in our Skaneateles facility five days a week. | |
