Join our team as a Remote Service Center Technical Consultant Contractor.

The Remote Services Center (RSC) is a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a strong customer focus, offering the right candidate the opportunity to build on current strengths, acquire new skills, and be a member of a highly impactful team.

Our ideal candidate will exhibit initiative to learn and demonstrate technical expertise in clinical laboratory applications, as well as, the electro-mechanical ability needed to troubleshoot diagnostic laboratory instruments over the phone. You must possess strong computer skills and be able to communicate effectively over the phone, and through written documentation.

As a candidate you must display a positive attitude working with both internal and external customers, striving to exceed expectations at all times. You must be able to make sound decisions that promote the interests of both Client Healthiness and the customer. Candidate must be a selfless team player and enthusiastic proponent of change.

This is a temporary contractor role working up to 32 hours per week. As a Technical Consultant Contractor, you will be responsible for

Providing phone/email support for internal customers (field partners and front-line support specialists) as well as, consistent monitoring and accurate documentation utilizing the Customer Relations Software Tools
Applying analytical troubleshooting methodology to issues presented by regional field teams
Serving as the product expert while troubleshooting complex problems, identifying issues and escalating tickets to Headquarters Support Center or other resources when necessary
Demonstrating a high level of technical expertise in clinical laboratory practice while supporting product lines which may include Hematology, Hemostasis, Plasma Protein, and Syva systems.
Taking timely action and ownership on all open tickets/escalations to troubleshoot and resolve internal/external customer issues to the customers satisfaction, and if necessary, escalate concerns to next level support
Meeting/Exceeding individual service level metrics to support the needs of the customer/business
Compliance to all Client policies and RSC Procedures/Processes

Have analytical thinking abilities to support advanced technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Display exceptional phone and communications skills to support collaboration with customers and internal resources to develop and implement comprehensive action plans to resolve issues
Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams, and other common applications
Have a positive & can-do & attitude in all communications and the ability to thrive as a member of a collaborative, cross-functional team
Leverage team-centric abilities to best serve the customer, and collaborate with team members and counterparts in other parts of the organization to develop and implement action plans to resolve customer issues
Are willing to create an open, supportive environment consistent with the culture of Service Based Leadership (SBL)

Required skills to have for the success of this role

Preferred candidate should have Bachelor?s degree in a science or engineering discipline, or some college with equivalent professional experience
Prior experience with Hematology, Hemostasis, Plasma Protein, and Syva systems.
This is a remote position, but occasional travel to a Client Healthiness facility (Glasgow, DE or and Cary, NC) may be required
Willingness to travel for training needs (expected to be less than 10%)
8 or more Years Comparable Experience
Working Hours: Up to 32 hours per week, potential for weekly flexibility
