JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Assembly Mechanic for our client in North Charleston, SC! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $17.00/Hour Shift: Day shift 7am - 3:30pm M-F DOUBLE TIME PAY ON SUNDAYS: ?The site has approved that if the worker works Monday ? Saturday, all hours worked on Sunday will be paid at Double Time.? FIT TEST REQUIREMENT AT SC35 ONLY!!! A fit test is required prior to allowing an employee to use a respirator. All employees reporting to the Sleeves plant (SC35) must take a fit test. Employees that are interested in or was hired for a potential chemical operator position at the Gloves plant (SC32) must take a fit test. Constructs, maintains, and tests mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Identifies parts for replacement and machines that need new parts and places orders as necessary. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. May require 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Special Considerations: Lifting is generally in the 10 to 15 Lbs. range with minimal repetitions. Exposure to machinery, chemical, biological, and physical risks is minimal. | |
