Weekly Pay! $17.93/Hour Shift: M-F 3:00p-11:30p and rotating Saturday and Sunday Must have candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Please include required certs Welcoming patient representatives. High School Diploma/GED Required and Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. List typical procedures performed on unit(s) Best personality Fit Interviews patient and family to obtain registration information and enters correct data including patient name, gender, and date of birth without duplication of an existing medical record at the time of registration and pre-registration. Enter insurance policy number, group number, address, and telephone numbers and patient billing data and clinical data. Verbally interview patient and/or family to obtain registration information. Identifies patient liabilities, obtains patients on pre-service payments, counsel?s patients on payer financial waivers, and processes co-payments collections. Identify co-payment procedures and fiscal procedures related to registration procedures. Complete computer and telephone pre-registrations to maintain patient flow. Understanding of common medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology. Knowledge of Managed Care requirements under the Medicare/Medicaid and other third-party payor programs. Able to solve problems by analyzing information and using logic to address issues and problems. Ability to work with diverse groups including physicians, therapists, patients, and families. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. | |
