Job Summary
A Project Manager is needed to support the major Digital Instrumentation and Control (I&C) modernization program for Client Surry Power Station. The Digital I&C project is a 10+ year effort as part of Subsequent License Renewal (SLR) to upgrade safety and non-safety-related analog systems to digital and transform the main control room to flat panel displays and controls.
This role works with a cross-functional team of Project Management peers, design engineers, station stakeholders, schedulers, suppliers, construction, and other specialty project leads to execute the project implementation. Responsibilities include,
Leads, manages, and/or supports specific phases of digital I&C project design and implementation
Working with the lead Project Manager to develop and manage project scope, budget, schedule and risk
Communicating regularly with team, station stakeholders, and other departments through use of presentations, log entries, and monthly reports
Heavy interface with other groups, departments, and outside entities are an expectation of this position. Performance of a variety of other duties as requested or assigned are also to be expected.
Reports to Supervisor of Surry Digital Nuclear Projects for the SLR Projects Group in Virginia.

Preferred Years of Experience:
7+ years of nuclear industry experience in the field of construction, engineering, finance and/or management with a minimum of 3 years demonstrated experience in project management.

Education:
Bachelor Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education
Other Education: Business, Engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management

Experience:
You must have nuclear industry experience
