Pay Rate - $24.50/hr
1st Shift: Monday-Friday, 8 hour shift between 7am-5pm

Job Description
Under some supervision, follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, perform system transactions and dispatch goods in a factory or warehouse. Receive incoming goods, check for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices. Accurately sort, label, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space. Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.

Follow all applicable standard work, work instruction/process documentation and established quality procedures.

Performs quality checks for damage and for discrepancies between goods and invoices.
Identifies and controls non-conforming material.

Delivery
Receive incoming goods, accurately sort, label/package, store goods and arrange storage to optimize warehouse space.
Operates manual and automated equipment to pick, pack and ship product per the customer expectations.
Demonstrates a high level of competency in core work skills.
Works at the required cycle time or defined engineering standard.

Teamwork
Communicates effectively with the assigned team and with all support teams.
Completes training in line with business requirements.
Participates actively in ways to improve quality, safety, process, material flow, and employee development.
Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
Remains flexible and performs other miscellaneous duties, as required, to meet business goals.
Works with peers, skilled trades, and support staff to maintain and identify equipment in need of repair.

This role will be helping set up for inventory and preparation to move into the new building for May 2024. The role will entail some odd jobs and not the normal warehouse roles to ensure movement for the new building is secured. Once the new building is secure regular warehouse work will be conducted. Some of the jobs could be verifying tags and parts, receiving, and slotting. The manager is looking for true warehouse experience.

Forklift, cherry picker, and stock picker experience is a must; not all 3 but at least 1 or more
