JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Assembler for our client in North Charleston, SC! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $17.00/Hour Shift: B Shift - 4 days a week, 12 hours per day. 6:00AM - 6:00PM Each shift works a 3-2-2-3 schedule. So each week changes. Night Shift schedule is Monday night, Tuesday night, Friday night, and Saturday night. Second week is Sunday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night. DOUBLE TIME PAY ON SUNDAYS: ?The site has approved that if the worker works Monday ? Saturday, all hours worked on Sunday will be paid at Double Time.? FIT TEST REQUIREMENT AT SC35 ONLY!!! A fit test is required prior to allowing an employee to use a respirator. All employees reporting to the Sleeves plant (SC35) must take a fit test. Employees that are interested in or was hired for a potential chemical operator position at the Gloves plant (SC32) must take a fit test. Ø How many hours during the day will the workers be required to wear the N95/Half Respirator mask? ***A respirator is required only when walking around or through the chemical (dip) room. The employee operates the equipment from a booth in the chemical (dip) room where fresh air is fed through a ventilation system. In this area, the respirator can be removed. So, in a 12-hour shift, the employee may only be required to wear the respirator for less than 5 minutes. Ø Do you have a required safety training process for this initiative that the worker must complete as part of this requirement? ***Yes, the employee will be trained on how to properly wear the respirator to ensure it is sealed properly around the nose, mouth, etc. Ø Are there any forms / documents your team must have completed and submitted to HSE / Medical team onsite? ***Yes, the employee will be required to fill out a Respirator Form prior to the fit test. If a medical condition or concern is disclosed in the form, then additional paperwork may be required from their primary care physician. Ø Does this site accept accommodation exemption if the worker does not pass the medical/fit test? ***If the employee is not medically able to complete the fit test, then they won?t be allowed to work in the chemical (dip) room. Therefore, they will never qualify to be a chemical operator. All employees at the Sleeves plant must be able to work in the chemical (dip) room. The future is what we make it.
