Weekly Pay! $/Hour Shift: Responsibilities: 1) Evaluate and enhance the quality of components from external suppliers, addressing defects in dimensions and surface finish. 2) Assist in selecting suppliers, providing technical support, and managing assigned suppliers independently over time. 3) Establish acceptance criteria for materials and monitor supplier performance. 4) Assess potential new suppliers for technical and manufacturing capabilities. 5) Develop and maintain incoming inspection procedures, including training inspectors. 6) Generate test protocols, monitor testing, and approve components for use. 7) Analyze and address incoming material defects, driving corrective actions and formal investigations. 8) Review new design specifications for quality and manufacturability. 9) Investigate and resolve field failures related to supplier materials. 100% onsite work required. New hires will initially pair with experienced colleagues and later support assigned suppliers independently. Execute formal investigations (Exceptions) and become certified as an Investigator. Handle Root Cause Investigations, CAPA's, SCN, and validation tasks. Collaborate with the shipping receiving team when necessary. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 3+ years of experience. Master's degree accepted with 0-2 years of experience. Experience in medical devices or regulated industries preferred. Strong background in CAPA's, investigations, and quality engineering. Note: Position involves working in a quality system environment; noncompliance may result in violations of governmental regulations. Open to considering candidates with a Quality Engineer background and robust investigations experience. | |
