JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Maintenance Technician for our client in Phoenix, AZ! Pay rate: 22.50 Shift times: M-F: 6AM-2:30PM Main Responsibilities: This position will be mainly outdoors taking care of lawn and grounds maintenance. Outdoor maintenance of the building is also a large part of this role. ? Maintain landscapes by watering, pruning, fertilizing, planting, and weeding ? Troubleshoot irrigation systems ? Perform landscape maintenance, including lawn mowing, trimming, pruning, and weeding ? Maintain records of materials and equipment used ? Remove debris and trash ? Maintain and replace exterior signage ? Maintain and paint curb, bollards and other exterior areas as needed. ? Landscaping and painting ? Candidate should be comfortable with basic lawn care tools ? Valve replacement ? Irrigation repair Experience: ? High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of one year of related experience and/or training. ? Excellent understanding of landscaping principles and practices ? Knowledge of plant and soil types and characteristics ? Knowledge of irrigation systems ? Knowledge of gardening tools and equipment ? Ability to communicate effectively with clients ? Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations required | |
