Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Reports To: Planning Manager

Job Summary:

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for managing inventory, overseeing project coordination, and analyzing business opportunities within the organization.

This role involves supporting the master production schedule, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring adherence to company guidelines and purchasing policies.

The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain production material inventory and purchase plans to align with the master schedule.

Foster communication and collaboration with Production, Production Planning, Supply Chain, Quality, Procurement, and Accounts Payable departments.

Monitor and update the status of raw materials and purchased component shortages impacting production lines.

Execute purchase orders and modifications to optimize material delivery in cost-effective quantities.

Guarantee availability of purchased materials to support production while adhering to budgeted inventory limits.

Coordinate timely resolution of rejected purchased materials.

Actively engage in projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.


Qualifications:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership and organizational capabilities.
Prior experience in inventory management, project coordination, or related fields preferred.
