JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Assembler for our client in North Charleston, SC! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $17.00/Hour Shift: B shift - 6:00AM - 6:00PM, 12 hour shifts Each shift works a 3-2-2-3 schedule. So each week changes. Night Shift schedule is Monday night, Tuesday night, Friday night, and Saturday night. Second week is Sunday night, Wednesday night, and Thursday night. DOUBLE TIME PAY ON SUNDAYS: ?The site has approved that if the worker works Monday ? Saturday, all hours worked on Sunday will be paid at Double Time.? Assembles fabricated parts at floor stations. Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. Uses hand tools and power tools to assemble units according to product specifications. Identifies units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repairs as necessary. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. May be required to complete an apprenticeship and/or formal training in area of specialty. The future is what you make it. You will be responsible for your work area to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the area. You will set up and monitor the production of product in your area and participate in the continuous improvement process at the site to address safety, production, and quality improvements. This role requires good coordination, motor skills, and dexterity Key Responsibilities Operate assigned equipment. Participate in continuous improvement activities. Support the Client Operating System Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness Comply with all safety rules. Record and report production data.
