Come be a part of a globally known medical warehouse in Otay! Payrate is $17.00 40 hours/week 1st shift 7:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. 45 min lunch. Must be able to lift 50lbs using buddy system Steel toed shoes required Drug test required If candidate does not have a HS Diploma/GED they must have 1 year of similar work experience **Must have material handler experience** Experience with Walkie Ryder (motorized Pallet Jack) preferred. General Summary Duties and Responsibilities Pallet/Case Picking Processing customer orders including but not limited to: scanning bar codes, picking and labeling boxes. Pick and pack orders. Processing orders through RF technology. Maintains an acceptable work area as outlined in SOP and work instructions. Responsible for following Good Documentation Practices (GDP) as outlined in SOP. Complete all necessary RF device training to obtain the necessary profiles Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Pallet Build Palletizing to include scanning, retrieving and placing completed orders on pallets. Re-palletizing products for shipment. May be responsible for dock manifest duties which includes scanning completed pallets and running the shrink wrapper. May be required to transport pallets by walking MHE. Responsible for accuracy verification and shipment packaging. Additional Duties Must follow all safety instructions to maintain safe working conditions and to adhere to proper operating practices and procedures designed to prevent injuries and illnesses. Safety and Security Associates are responsible for performing their job activities in a safe and reasonable manner and in accordance with safety requirements. Sanitation and Housekeeping The associate must maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area at all times. Cross-training Become knowledgeable with the responsibilities of the other warehouse positions. Assist as required. Act as back up at times of absence or vacation. The associate may occasionally be required to climb. The job may require lifting up to 50lbs in some areas but not all.
