JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire a Processor I for our client in Warrendale, PA! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $17.00/Hour Shift :1st / Day SHIFT HOURS: Sunday-Thursday 8am until work is done (can range from 3-6pm depending on workload) MAY go to 8pm. but the is extremely RARE frequently. Environment: cold/wet 34-40 degrees year-round. 0-3 Years of Experience, Efficiently processes fresh cut orders, including cutting and packaging fresh vegetables and other food products, for next day delivery while following all safety rules. Ensures processing room is clean and sanitized at the beginning of the shift, processes fresh cut items and produce based on orders keyed into the system, makes labels for product to be shipped, packages items and prepares them for shipment, ensures quality of product is acceptable and meets standards, follows all safety rules and regulations, follows any other requests or instructions given by the Manager or Supervisor. Minimum requirements include the ability to read, write, and understand English; basic arithmetic skills; a high school diploma or GED equivalent; the physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs, bend, squat, push, pull, stand in one place for a long period of time, and work in confined spaced; and the ability to work with sharp instruments used for cutting. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of produce and previous experience in a processing facility. Reports to the Value Added Manager. MUST HAVE comfortable with a cold/wet environment, willing to learn to operate an electric pallet jack, and have steel/safety/composite slip & water-resistant boots | |
