JobsRUs.com. is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant for our client in Northwood, OH! Benefits Available! Weekly Pay! $17.85/Hour Hours: 8a - 5p (1 hour lunch) The job is for a general office position that involves responding to emails, communicating with vendors, and handling lots of paperwork. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook is required. The ideal candidate should have 0-3 years of experience and be able to provide administrative and staff support services to an organizational unit. The job responsibilities include word processing, organizing electronic and paper files, scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, processing incoming mail, answering phones, maintaining reports, and managing relevant data. The candidate may also assist in budget preparation and control activities, as well as the preparation and control of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, and more. Additionally, they may administer various programs, projects, and/or processes specific to the operating unit served, and serve as an administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities, and operations. They may also train and assist other employees when required. The ideal candidate should possess professional skills such as the ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos. They should be able to write correspondence, effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization, and must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written. They should have a good grasp of basic arithmetic, such as the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. They should be able to compute rate, ratio, and percent and draw and interpret bar graphs. They should apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form, and be able to deal with problems involving several discrete variables in standardized situations. The ideal candidate should be proficient in Microsoft products such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access, and Project, and should know tables, formatting, formulas, clipart/graphics, presentations, macros, database development, project tracking, etc. They should have excellent word-processing skills (50 - 60 wpm) and business writing ability, plus accurate and precise proofreading skills. They should have strong organizational, analytical, attention to detail and follow-up skills. They should be able to work on multiple projects concurrently and be capable of working with little direct supervision. They should communicate effectively with all levels (Presidents, Senior Vice Presidents, Vice Presidents, and Directors of all Client operating companies and staff levels) and be able to prepare the profit plan as required. Finally, they should have a strong sense of urgency and work ethic. | |
