Job Title: Mechanical Assembler - Manufacturing Come be a part of our team at a globally known medical warehouse in Sparks MD. We are looking for a candidate who has proficiency in reading blueprints, GMPs, uses hand/power tools, jigs, and saws, follows safety and housekeeping client policies and able to work overtime as needed. Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30 pm overtime as needed. Starting Pay 21.50/hr. 401-k, Health, Dental and Vision on day one! Weekly pay|45 days temp to hire|$500 sign on bonus! Send your resume to ycarmichael@jobsrus.com Job Responsibilities: 1. Component Assembly: ? Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. ? Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies according to specifications such as modules, boards, panels, drawers, frames, and cables. ? Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other assembly equipment to perform tasks. ? Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. ? Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves complex issues associated with instrument assembly operations. ? Must be able to perform standard material handling functions for instrument raw materials and sub-assemblies. 2. Quality Control: ? Complete any related production activities in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and in accordance with client expectations of client for Safety and Quality. ? Identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies in the assembled products. ? Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient work environment through execution of all housekeeping responsibilities including cleaning, sweeping, organizing to maintain a safe and clean work environment. ? Demonstrates the ability to follow established procedures according to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) 3. Collaboration: ? Work collaboratively with other team members, including engineers and quality control personnel. ? Communicate effectively with supervisors to report progress and discuss any challenges. ? Provide training to associates as needed including a broad variety of mechanical and basic testing activities. 4. Problem Solving: ? Provide Expertise in reading / understanding drawings, work instructions, and overall workmanship standards. ? Use independent judgment to plan, perform, make decisions, troubleshoot and problem solve in areas on set up, operations, and processes. 5. Safety Compliance: ? Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while performing assembly tasks. ? Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. Qualifications: Education and Experience: High school degree or GED required with 4 years manufacturing experience or an AA technical degree with 1 year experience. Experience in a regulated environment required. Skills: ? Ability to read and interpret technical drawings (blueprints) and documents. ? Basic understanding of mechanical systems and components. ? Must be proficient in English with the ability to read, write, analyze/evaluate charts, follow simple diagrams and perform basic arithmetic. ? Basic proficiency with PCs (Personal Computers) and basic use of a Windows environment is required. Communication: ? Good verbal communication skills. ? Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions effectively. Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in a repetitive work environment and be able to stand for long periods of time.
