Weekly Pay! $28.00/Hour Description: 100% on-site Temp to hire potential 40 hours a week - standard hours possible limited/ travel as needed PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION An exciting job opportunity as Site Deployment Team Member is arising within Life Science Production System (LSPS) deployment team. The implementation of the LSPS aims to create a world-class execution of operations. Joining after the global pilot phase, you will be part of the deployment team to further roll-out the LSPS within your production site. Site Deployment Team Member The position of the LSPS Site Deployment Team Member is responsible for driving a set of key LSPS initiatives and ensuring successful implementation and sustainment in the transformation area of focus. The position will work closely with the frontline employees as well as the operational leadership in the respective site to support the installation of LSPS modules according to the area of optimization. The position will support capability building efforts of the frontline employees (e.g., through workshops, on-the-job training, coaching etc.) to ensure they can sustain the changes made and be considered expert authorities on the LSPS modules, purpose, design, and process. The positions expertise (which follows 3 categories; [1] Production/ QC [2] Technical [3] Project/ change / process management), will help define the initiatives that the position and drive them during the transformation period. Examples of initiatives during the pilot phase include improvements in maintenance, planning & scheduling, performance management and leadership. Essential Functions Perform maturity and performance gap assessments to design future state for areas of optimization Drive the day-to-day execution of improvement initiatives through the enablement of frontline operations teams Work alongside other stakeholders as needed (e.g., Quality, Planning) to complete milestones and secure end-to-end buy-in on initiatives Provide post-transformation hyper care support to sustain the LSPS improvements in respective areas if needed Facilitate the collection and analysis of data to identify improvements (e.g., equipment top losses) Use lean and statistical tools to identify losses and derive initiatives to improve production and process flow Support elements of capability building (workshops, on-the-job training, coaching etc.) to enable successful transformation and sustainment of improvements Escalate to the LSPS Site Deployment Lead any issues that are blocking progress of initiatives in deployment for prompt resolution Support LSPS Site Deployment Lead in any reporting needs that might be required by the site as well as the LSPS Central Team Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong abilities in independent work-style, self-motivation, willingness to learn, people interaction, cross-functional teamwork and cross-hierarchical communication Proven ability to influence without direct authority Strong knowledge in at least one of the expertise areas highlighted in the position objective [1] Production/ QC [2] Technical [3] Project/ change / process management Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Smartsheet) Education and Experience Bachelor?s/ Master?s degree with minimum 3 years of experience in Operations, Sciences, Engineering, Project leadership or related field Demonstrated experience in leading and executing complex initiatives/ projects efficiently Experience in Lean Six Sigma (Blue or Green Belt-level) with sufficient change management and project management expertise. | |
