We are currently hiring for Manufacturing Associates in Hodgkins, IL. $17.20/hour Tuesday to Friday, 5am to 3pm Must work every other Saturday 10 hour shifts The Manufacturing Associate will be responsible for performing an array of duties to fabricate and assemble products with multiple parts on an assembly line. The Associate is responsible for moving quickly, efficiently, and safely to be a productive team member. Minimum Requirements: - High School Diploma/GED Equivalent - Prior manufacturing experience is preferred, not required JOB DUTIES Duties as a Manufacturing Associate is dependent on workstation but include: - Assembly line work to collaborate with others using a one-piece flow process. - Use of hand and air tools to tighten, fasten and apply seals and other components to products. - Disassembly of components by loosening bolts, and/or hammering seized clasps, removal of chipped paint - Operating machinery to remove original finishes from products including tumblers, industrial ovens and/ or sand blasters. - Preparation of products by steam washing, masking, taping of open orifices in preparation for Powder Coating - Push a cart with product across the warehouse. - Must always comply with all safety policies and procedures. - Required to maintain a safe and clean work environment. - Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately. - Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation. - Daily inspect and perform minor maintenance on the hand tools, or other equipment assigned.
