We are currently hiring for an Operations Associate for a local manufacturer in Watertown, NY. $50-60,000/year DOE Day shift The Operations Associate will support various activities related to operations and manufacturing of company products through a focus on safety, quality and administrative tasks. REQUIREMENTS: - Associate?s Degree in business or technical field required, Bachelor?s Degree preferred or relevant work experience - OSHA compliance safety, minimum of 2 years experience - Strong computer skills required, to include Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. - Exceptional communication skills required. - Must be familiar with customer service functions. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: - Lead the effort of expanding and implementing a more comprehensive quality control program. - Expand and administer our OSHA compliance safety program in the Watertown plant - Assist production, shipping and maintenance with clerical and administrative tasks - Coordinate production staffing. - Work with temp agencies and utilize direct hiring. - May be asked to assist with scheduling production activities based on inventory, sales and customers? needs. - May work with maintenance to ensure proper spare parts and repair items are on hand. - Maintain positive relationships with all internal customers for optimal efficiency and success. Performs other duties as assigned.
