Job Purpose: We are looking for an experienced and ready-to-work Telecom Technician who has experience with large cabinet wiring/assembly. In this role, you are responsible for performing complex assembly operations associated with wiring, fabricating, and installing electrical components and components of a larger system. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Essential Duties and Responsibilities: - Assemble complex wiring and electrical components according to schematics and with minimum instructions. SQ Follow safety protocols and guidelines - Monitor and inspect components for quality control - Follow quality assurance standards. - Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized. - Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose any electrical problems related to assembly or system wiring. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong communication and problem-solving skills - Perform other duties as assigned. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Additional Responsibilities: - May be required to perform shipping and receiving functions. - Handling and storage of materials Education: - High School Diploma or Equivalent Experience: - Minimum of 5 years experience in wiring and electrical assembly of Industrial, telecom, IT type systems. - Material handling, shipping, and receiving with forklift experience and certification is a plus. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Qualifications - Good manual dexterity and attention to detail - Knowledge of electrical schematics, shop drawings, and wiring diagrams - Basic understanding of electronics and mechanical principles - Ability to use standard hand tools and soldering equipment. - Basic knowledge of safety practices and procedures - Ability to work in a team environment. - Ability to lift 50 lbs - Must pass background and drug screening. - Must be able to work 1st and 2nd shifts (if needed) - Willingness to learn, accept new challenges and commit to a long-term position. - Very dependable (Need to be on time every day) Able to do physically demanding work (crouching, stooping, crawling, standing for long periods) - Able to work some evenings and weekends. - Able to operate the forklift will be an added value. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Key Points/Benefits: - Weekdays from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM ** Occasional 2nd shift possible** - $20 - $22 per hour. - Weekly pay. - Opportunity for growth. - 100% Employee Healthcare coverage, 50% for spouse once hired on. - 401K match up to 3% once hired on - Tolerant work environment ## | |
