Description

We are seeking a ready-to-learn and grow Level 1 Assembler to join our client's team in Suwanee, GA. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical assembly, with knowledge of mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of simple power systems. The Level 1 Assembler will be responsible for reading and interpreting shop drawings, pictures, and schematics to determine the type and quantity of materials and components needed for system assembly, point-to-point wiring, and continuity testing. In addition, they will be responsible for assembling electromechanical devices, such as wire harnesses and circuit boards, following instructions for assembling the components correctly, and following quality assurance standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
? Read and interpret shop drawings, pictures, and schematics to determine the type and quantity of materials and components needed for system assembly, point-to-point wiring, and continuity testing.
? Assemble electromechanical devices, such as wire harnesses and circuit boards.
? Follow instructions for assembling the components correctly.
? Follow quality assurance standards.
? Keep the work area and equipment clean and organized.
? Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities:
? May be required to perform shipping and receiving functions.
? Handling and storage of materials.

Qualifications:
? Good manual dexterity and attention to detail.
? Knowledge of electrical schematics, shop drawings, and wiring diagrams.
? Ability to use standard hand tools and soldering equipment.
? Basic knowledge of safety practices and procedures.
? Ability to work in a team environment.
? Ability to lift 40 lbs.
? Must pass background.
? Willingness to learn, accept new challenges, and commit to a long-term position.
? Very dependable (Need to be on time every day).
? Able to do physically demanding work (crouching, stooping, crawling, standing for long periods of time).
? Able to work some evenings and weekends.
? Able to operate the forklift will be an added value.

Education:
? High School Diploma or Equivalent.
