Mon. - Thurs. 6:30 am until 4:30 pm. Weekly pay - great work environment An Assembly Specialist assembles and solders circuit boards, wire assemblies, and small panel units in accordance with quality requirements and standards. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactory. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Follow assembly procedures, parts layouts, or other documentation in accurately assembling items. Assemble, wire & solder circuit boards and small panels properly with correct components according to documentation. Clean and coat circuit boards Machine boxes, circuit boards Prep and check boards and parts, and set up line. Set up production equipment (swage press). Operate machines to cut, strip, tin wire and crimp on terminals. Solder and de-solder using various types of solder and equipment. Secure proper product inspections. Inspect and repair post wave boards. Encapsulate assemblies (potting). Write procedures, keep documents current, follow procedures, & fill out documentation Observe safety standards in work areas. Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent. No experience necessary will train on-site Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Identify colors and small part numbers Use hand and power tools Work well with small parts Work both independently without close supervision, and as a member of a crew Communicate well both verbally and in writing Physical Requirements and Work Conditions: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to see, peak, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. A high level of dexterity in hands and fingers is required to work on small parts. This position mainly requires sitting, but may require standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and move up to 20 pounds, and occasionally move up to 40 pounds. | |
