Laboratory Technician

Location: Granville, OH

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Pay: $23.00/Hour

Summary:
JobsRus.com is looking for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Granville, OH. This role involves supporting technical solutions that have a significant impact on our Roofing Component Business. You will work in our Product Testing Laboratory, helping test materials and products for performance. The position reports to the SAU Program Lead within the Roofing Components group.

Responsibilities:

Commitment to safety is a top priority, including safety meetings and compliance with safety procedures.
Proficiency in various types of testing to support the Product Testing Laboratory.
Data collection, analysis, and reporting in a timely and accurate manner.
Collaboration with product developers, scientists, and engineers.
Maintenance of a clean and safe laboratory environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Office.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Desired: Four-year technical/lab/engineering/science degree with 0-2 years of lab experience.
OR: Two-year technical/lab/engineering/science associate degree with 1-3 years of lab experience in lieu of a four-year degree.

Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite required.
Mechanical aptitude and hands-on experience with analytical equipment.
Ability to operate lab equipment and provide timely, quality test results.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to innovate solutions.
Ability to lift objects up to 35 lbs and stand for extended periods.
Minimum of 1 year lab experience preferred.
Previous forklift experience is a plus.
