JobsRus.com is looking to hire a Asphalt Process Engineer Supervisor for our client in Mt. Vernon, Indiana 47620.

1st shift

Responsibilities:

Ensure safety, quality, and reliability of stillyard processes to meet asphalt supply demands.
Supervise stillyard personnel for safe and efficient operations.
Lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reliability, and profitability.
Coordinate capital improvement projects in collaboration with management.
Prioritize tasks based on safety, quality, service, and cost.
Oversee safety compliance, incident investigations, and root cause analysis.
Provide leadership and direction to the stillyard team for operational excellence.
Drive productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.
Troubleshoot and resolve production and machinery issues.
Develop and communicate departmental objectives and performance standards.
Monitor employee performance and attendance.
Manage timekeeping for stillyard employees.
Implement and enforce quality policies and procedures.
Lead process improvement and capital projects.
Collaborate with various teams to enhance equipment and processes.
Support product qualifications and trials.
Identify and implement solutions for production or process problems.
Conduct compliance audits and inspections.
Lead the integration of Braincube for process optimization.
Perform other assigned duties.
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical preferred).
Minimum of three years of process engineering experience in manufacturing.
Strong commitment to safety.
Knowledge of manufacturing controls (PLC and HMI preferred).
Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
Familiarity with manufacturing concepts and practices.
Advanced computer skills, including G Suite, AutoCAD, and other relevant software.
Physical ability to perform various tasks as described in the job.
