JobsRUs.com is seeking to hire a Decom Field Engineer for our client to work in the Pryor Creek, OK area!

$23.18/Hour
Shift: 40 hours a week.

Role: To perform work on customer sites across the US working with fellow Decom team members. Decom is responsible for returning new and used customer material from the site back into inventory. The team receives requests from engineering groups within NetOps that complete deployments across the US region, this material translates into a request sheet listing the equipment that is required to be collected and brought safely back to our warehouse location.

Daily activities:
- Working on customer sites across the US
- Booking travel for Decom for upcoming activity
- Adhering to customer security and safety policies
- Supporting in the preparation of Decom projects with good research and feedback on team meetings prior to project start dates
- Performing part identification and data input into the inventory management system
- Performing configuration checks of high-value items and documentation updates
- Safe removal of telecoms equipment on customer sites
- Repacking of high-value items according to our packaging guidelines
- Preparation of material for safe shipping and completion of handovers to courier teams
- Updating of inventory management system
- Attending and contributing to regular team meetings
- Providing feedback on weekly activity in team meetings
- Updating documentation of change requests for equipment and packaging changes
- During quieter periods contribution to ongoing projects will be required
- Assisting in virtual decoms
- Helping other engineers verify parts and proper packaging techniques over VC
Travel
Weekly travel will be required for the first 2 months for training. Thereafter, travel will be around 30% and 70% in local metro

Key Responsibilities
- Adhering to customer security and safety policies
- Submitting weekly expense reports following company guidelines
- Attend all customer team meetings as required
- Adhere to all aspects of health and safety in the warehouse including safe handling of ESD components
- Adhere to all client travel policies
- Client confidentiality must be adhered to at all times
- Other duties as assigned, management reserves the right to add or delete duties as deemed appropriate.

This role will require Mon - Fri 40 hours per week

Qualifications / preferred experience
5 years of telecoms experience
Experience in inventory control and management systems
Computer literate, intermediate level Word/Excel/Mail (Google docs a bonus)
Working without direct supervision
Experience in electronics/telecommunication hardware
Experience of working in a fast-paced, volatile environment
Experience in handling and resolving customer queries
Able to lift heavy objects 100 lbs +

Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Excellent personal organization and business administration skills
Attention to detail and ability to work with a high level of accuracy
Ability to multi-task and manage conflicting priorities
Ability to work productively, efficiently, and effectively with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
Good team-building skills

- Basic knowledge of AC/DC power and voltmeter
- Basic knowledge of electrostatic discharge and safety precautions

Other
Ability to work evening and weekend hours during peak periods
A valid driver's license and a minimum level of auto insurance coverage are necessary.
