Weekly Pay! $22.00/Hour Shift 1 Shift Start and End Time 7:00AM-4:00PM Position Overview The warehouse coordinator is responsible for all shipping and receiving activities at the branch warehouse as well as the management and upkeep of the warehouse environment. The warehouse coordinator reports into the regional manager or the warehouse supervisor (if applicable). Additionally, the warehouse coordinator will have daily interaction with branch staff, and acts as a service provider to branch operations ? thereby taking some local direction from operations management. Responsibilities Job responsibilities and activities include (but are not limited to) the following: receiving inbound deliveries, moving parts and materials into inventory and/or job stock, picking parts and materials for outbound deliveries, processing all transactions in SAP according to standard procedure, creating shipping papers using the preferred carriers? software application, supporting the service van parts replenishment process, keeping accurate inventory levels and participating in the inventory count process as dictated by policy/procedure, executing the goods return procedure for the branch, communicating with internal parties to coordinate delivery of parts and materials to meet project/service demand, retaining documentation necessary for follow-up and proof of delivery and inventory, general housekeeping of the warehouse, enforcing and maintain safety in the warehouse, adhering to standard warehouse guidelines, and following the policies. Deliver/Pick-up job related to/from job sites. Use of company provided truck requires clean driving record. Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience High School Diploma Detail oriented, accurate and organized Computer skills a must ? Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), SAP experience ? IM and WM modules Good written and verbal communication Material handling skills/experience ? movement of parts and materials (in boxes) using the appropriate handling equipment Experience using a forklift (certification provided by Client ) Safety first attitude Customer service approach ? responsive and thorough Self-directed ? ability to work independently (supervised remotely) Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience 3 years experience working in a warehouse in a material handling and logistics function Variety of supply chain management experience Experience working with cross-functions (e.g. project managers, service technicians) Customer service experience SAP experience ? other SCM related modules (Purchasing, Accounting, Planning, etc.) As this is a warehouse environment, able to lift at minimum 50lbs. Education and/ or Experience Requirements High School Diploma/SAP experience/3yrs warehouse, material handling and logistics Mandatory skill sets Clean driver license (as this position will include Delivery Driver using our Truck) able to lift at minimum 50lbs. Good written/verbal communication and able to work independently Not remote position SAP experience preferred Must have strong work ethic. They must be self-motivated The candidate must be comfortable working with only 1 other person in the warehouse. They will also be required to deliver goods to other sites within a 2 hour radius (same day). No after hours. It's a temp - to - permanent position. A valid CA Driver's license is required. It will be a Siemens large truck. A class license is sufficient; no special license is required. ODT certification will be required/paid for upon onboarding. Vehicle comes with a gas card; so no out of pocket expenses will be made. No OT is expected. The previous person had a lack of initiative and low learning curve so the candidate must be self-motivated. HS diploma is required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Soft skills: friendly, can get along easily with others; ideally not an introvert since they will be required to communicate with multiple people throughout the day. | |
