Weekly Pay! $58.62/Hour Shift: Days, 5x8 (not flexible), 0700-1900 (hours may vary during day shift) Guaranteed Hours: 36 Assignment Length: 13 weeks Required Certifications: RRA Experience: 2 years Must be willing to float when needed MUST BE FULLY COVID AND FLU VACCINATED TO BE SUBMITTED - NO EXCEPTIONS General Comments Member of the Radiation Therapy Treatment Team who plans, prepares, and delivers prescribed radiation therapy treatments to patients, using a wide variety of sophisticated equipment and devices. Performs related duties as assigned. Education: Graduate of AMA approved Radiation Therapy Technology training program Licensure: None required. Experience: Clinical experience commensurate with successful completion of an approved Radiation Therapy Technology training program. Certifications: Certification in therapy by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must have a current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card Other: Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Knowledge of modern radiotherapy techniques and equipment. Computer skills as required. Demonstrate skill in compassionate human relations and communication. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Must work around occupational levels of radiation exposure and hazardous materials found in the modern hospital environment. Must be able to walk, stand, push, lift heavy objects as appropriate to maintain optimal patient care. Communicate in English language. Equipment Used: Linear accelerators, computer network, radiotherapy simulator, CT scanners, and other patient care equipment. | |
