SHIFT INFO Shift day Shifts per week 3 Hours per shift 12 EXPERIENCE Years of Experience One Year Plus Specialties Med-Surg - required Tele - preferred CERTIFICATIONS Certifications BLS - required NRP - required DESCRIPTION Unit: Float Pool Specialty: RN / Med Surg The Registered Nurse works under the supervision of the, Manager, House Supervisor and/or Executive Director, and is responsible for the delivery of efficient, safe patient care through the use of the nursing process, hospital policies and procedures. In addition the Registered Nurse works closely with and acts as clinical expert for other professional and ancillary nursing personnel. Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program. RN Registered Nurse in Missouri, or Nurse Compact State License Must have basic competencies equivalent to those required of unit core nurses. Specialty skills will be approved and assigned on an individual basis. BLS Basic Life Support to be current before assigned to care for patients independently. Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills are required, and the Registered Nurse must be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Must be able to operate various types of office equipment, including a computer, fax machine, telephone, printer and copy machine. | |
